Please review the following terms before opting in to receive SMS text message notifications from the Ring Theft Prevention application.

By providing your mobile phone number and enabling SMS notifications in the Ring Theft Prevention app, you consent to receive automated text messages from Zen Technology Lab related to your Ring Theft Prevention alerts and service notifications. This consent is not required to use the app.

Program Description

The Ring Theft Prevention SMS Notification Program ("Program") is operated by Zen Technology Lab and provides automated text message alerts related to the Ring Theft Prevention application ("App"). The App is available through the Ring App Store and is designed for use with Ring-brand security cameras.

By opting in, you may receive SMS messages including, but not limited to:

  • Package delivery notifications when a parcel is detected near your property
  • Suspicious activity alerts when unusual behavior is detected near your delivery zones
  • Tamper detection alerts if a delivered package is moved or removed
  • Parcel status updates and delivery confirmation messages
  • Service, account, and security notifications related to the App

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on the level of activity detected by your Ring camera(s). You may receive multiple SMS messages per day, as messages are triggered in real time by events detected at your monitored property or properties.

We will only send messages in response to genuine events detected by the Ring Theft Prevention App. We do not send scheduled promotional SMS messages.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard SMS and data rates set by your wireless carrier may apply to each message you receive from this Program. Please check your wireless plan or contact your mobile carrier for details regarding your SMS messaging rates.

Zen Technology Lab does not charge separately for SMS notifications delivered through this Program; however, your carrier's standard messaging rates will apply.

How to Opt Out

You may stop receiving SMS messages from this Program at any time using any of the following methods:

  • Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from this Program
  • Disable SMS notifications in the Ring Theft Prevention app settings
  • Contact us at hello@zentechlab.com and request removal

After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation text message verifying your unsubscription. No further SMS messages will be sent to your number from this Program, except as may be required by applicable law.

To re-subscribe after opting out, reply START to any previous message from this Program, or re-enable SMS notifications within the App settings.

Carrier availability may vary. This Program is intended for use in the United States only.

Carrier Disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission and may be affected by network availability, your device settings, or other conditions outside the control of Zen Technology Lab.

Privacy and Data Use

Your mobile phone number will be used solely for the purpose of delivering Ring Theft Prevention event notifications and service-related messages through this Program.

Your mobile number will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes. Your number is associated only with your Ring Theft Prevention account for the purpose of delivering the alerts you have opted in to receive.

Consent Is Not a Condition of Use

Your agreement to receive SMS notifications is entirely voluntary and is not a condition of downloading, installing, or using the Ring Theft Prevention App. You may use all core features of the App without enabling SMS notifications.

If you choose not to opt in, you will still receive in-app push notifications through your Ring app for all detected events.
